| Hi everyone! So after three failed intros between Bella and Lucy (Bella is in a Colony with three neutered boys) I gave up and decided to get Lucy a cage mate. She is a tiny girl and very developmentally delayed. She is about 6 months old. I ended getting a Joey from a well known breeder because I am honestly exhausted from the health issues that my other babies have had as they are all rescues. I come to find out the day after I got him that this Joey is only 7 weeks oop! I plan to keep him on the diet that he is on (Priscilla price diet). And put them together sooner rather than later.he has a clean bill of health. He seems to be acting and drinking and is doing fine. I'm just a bit nervous because I would have never willingly taken a Joey so young from its mother. I'm really sad and upset that this wasn't disclosed to me. Any advice is welcome, thank you!p | |

| Treat him just as you would any other Joey. Make sure he is eating well, get a fecal and wellness check and love him as you would any other glider. I would also weigh him at the same time everyday to make sure he is gaining weight. | |

| Thanks Brenda! He's my first 'baby' age wise. Ooooo he's so darn cute! I'll weigh him tonight. He has a clean fecal and is healthy :) | |

| At 7 weeks, he is fine. Just treat him like a glider.
I would say, though, maybe not a very reputable breeder. I hope that you used the review sections of the forums and that you will consider leaving your own review. | |

| If a breeder sold you a 7 week old glider then I would not go on their word they did a wellness exam and a fecal check. Better to do it yourself and be sure it is done. Easier to treat one glider then all of them. | |

| Yes ma'am, I did a wellness exam at my vets. Clear fecal and clear exam. Dr Davis at Westgate is the best! | |

| Hey guys, im checking in...Glow Stick is 34 grams. At the vets he was 35 three days ago. Should i be concerned? Hes on vals green diet. I made him some glider crack because he is not eating well and he likes it. | |

| No, don't be worried. He is eating fine. VGV gives them more energy, and most gliders loose a little weight initially on it. Instead of the glider crack, you should give him larger portions of all of the components in the VGV. | |
