Hi everybody,
I am new here to the forum and have been reading about facial abscesses and I'm worried that my little girl, Keyma, may have this. The inner corner of her eye is a bit white and the area under her eye is pretty swollen. I am hoping to take her to the vet tomorrow but until then would anybody be able to help me out and tell me their ideas on this situation? What are the different possibilities of what this could be? I hope to hear from you guys soon.
Thank you,
Nicole

I am going to ask you a few, questions. But in case I need to run as I am at work I will tell you a vet is your, best option and there is really nothing you can do until you get her in to see them except checking on her.
Is she eating?
Is she active?
Is she acting normal?

Yes, you need to get her in to a vet. Only a vet can diagnose and treat this.
It is important that you get her in ASAP.
In the mean time, if she is eating, drinking, peeing and pooping, then keep an eye on her and watch for the abscess to burst or for any complications.
You could add a picture here if you like. And, please let us know how the vet visit goes.
If you are still feeling unsure, you may give me a call. My number can be found in the "who to call" thread of this forum.
