| I had an absolutely fabulous time at the RRRoundup --- but now I am all cried out and exhausted. I did manage to get some pictures, which I am trying to download as we speak.
Shawna took tremendously fabulous pictures all weekend. Hopefully she will share with us when she gets home tomorrow.
******************************
Everyone is on their way home except Shawna. Hopefully we will start to hear from people as they arrive safely home.
I don't have final numbers and counts and all, but will share a bit with you.
We saw 47 gliders for wellness checks. 2 who had previous "issues" were given a clean bill of health, and 4 (all mine, of course) were given the recommendation that they get to their primary vet soon for treatment. :( More on those later.
Every glider seen was weighed, handled by the vet, fecal checked and documented. So, it was a very good day for research and glider health.
The conference on Saturday went smoothly. Food was great. I'm very hopeful that others will come and share what they learned or how they were inspired over the weekend. Dinner discussions on Saturday night were very lively and encouraging.
While I do not have totals from the raffle and proceeds just yet, I do have totals that were designated for rescue homes from the auction. Auction donations were designated for the rescue homes that actively participate in SUGAR group research specifically for rescue homes, and will be earmarked with the SUGAR group or with SESG, Inc. for one of the following: * Necropsy of rescued glider * neuter * approved equipment or supplies purchases through the Glider Care Fund. Donation amounts were:
Nancy - JacknSally - $110 Kingdom Kritters - $110 Kate - thefotokat - $152
A box FULL of supplies was collected for Mary & Charlie, as they requested that there be no monetary gift or donation given to them.
*************************
Pictures and stories will hopefully be coming soon.

| Anita, I am so sad that I didn't get to say bye to you. I am so happy that I got to see you!
Everyone else, apparantly, I thought I was going camping. I didn't bring the cords to anything. So, phone died on Thursday, never used the computer, and have to upload pics tonight. Sorry.
I'm home, and going to take a nap. Will post later :)

I made it home from Nancy's around 8:00pm last night. Thanks soooo much Nancy for letting me tag along with you!! Why is it you feel a little jet lagged for a few days after a fun filled week-end even if you didn't fly? LOL...
What an awesome fun week-end!! I'm counting the days until next year!

| We made it home after lots of ice, police stops, and a ton of junk food. Fed and tucked in gliders and then ran to applebees with my oldest and family. Once we were finally home Toni stole my puter- frantic to get home :) and I went to bed. I should have posted sooner but we are so busy at work today. Thank you to everyone that worked so hard to organize it, the food, the activities and games. I'll add more later when I am not on my phone... My fingers are too fat to do this right. | |

| Who had chocolate pie? Who told? I don't know what you all are talking about.
Now, about those firemen, I didn't get to meet them, either. But, I am not single, so...
