AMARILLO

Accommodations: There are several rooms available for free stay for 4-6 out of town guests. Rooms are available on a first-come basis. If coming from out of town, please contact Val for more information on these rooms and/or local hotels. Hotel info available upon request.
Friday Afternoon – Dr. Walsh will be in attendance to provide FREE wellness exams for all who wish to have their gliders seen. Wellness exams will include fecal analysis, urinary analysis, physical exam and consultation with Dr. Walsh, weight check and a written report, signed by Dr. Walsh.
Friday night: Friday night in Amarillo will begin with gathering at Rosa’s Café for dinner (on your own) and then moving to Val’s mom’s house for game night. This will be a fun time just to get to know each other better.
Saturday Lunch – Will be prepared by Val’s mom. A taco pile-on and Chocolate Eclair are on the menu this year.
Gliders allowed at event on Saturday? Yes, so long as they are secured in a zippered bonding pouch or a travel cage/carrier. Gliders are not allowed to roam and owners should be aware of the dog(s) in the area.
Glider food provided for out of town guests? Yes – VGV, fruits and veggies
Child care provided? No
Activities for children? Possibly – please check with party hostess before bringing children.

These are the two hotels that are pet friendly by Karen's house. Rates are around $50 a night I did not see any pet fees.

Friday night will also include a recipe tasting contest and urinalysis testing on gliders.
Saturday Lunch: Guests in Detroit will enjoy homemade soups, breads and desserts.
