| Hi,
I am newly registered here, but have actually read some of the posts on wound care...some quite recently!
Anyway, I was asked to share a link to a post about my experience dealing with a 'Glider-cat related incident' and to also share my write-up 'timeline' of what happened and the medical treatment used. I believe Val will add the links for me (thank you!) Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll try my best to answer them. I plan on eventually writing up a brief on the whole experience and talk about what I felt worked best, what didn't and why. If interested I will be sure to add that once done. Nice to 'meet' everyone! -Chris

| I think most here will understand what I mean when I say what a wonderful story this is. So sad about how it happened, but my goodness, what a fantastic animal owner you are, Chris. If only everyone were as attentive and had even 1% of the follow through you have.
And I must say that you've got a way with words - your writing style just draws people in to the story and through it, I ran the gamut of emotions. Tears came first, smiles and laughter came later. You were on a rollercoaster that I wish no one had to ride, but if even one other person reads your story and has to ride it themselves, I can only hope they have learned enough to do the same as you to save their baby's life.
Thank you for sharing this heartwrenching and heartwarming story. Little Casey is in my thoughts, and I wish you continued success with the happy trio. :)

| Aww, thank you CDMufflin!
BWT, Caylee LOVED the cage set you made for me. She was quite fond of the Monkey clinger. After Caylee moved in with Cody I let Casey use that cage and the pouches were perfect for his little cone, plenty of room! You do VERY nice work and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a cage set!

| Wow. I was SO amazed at how much you had to go thru, how you were able to keep cool and get what needed to be done, done....and how long it really can take to have a wound heal completely. Wow again. I was mesmerized by your story, and am SO impressed with how you handled everything. I hope that reading your journal will help me keep cool and on track if the same ever happens to one of my glider kids. Casey is SO lucky to have such a good, loving family. I hope that it's smooth, happy sailing from now on & you can just enjoy each other! | |

| I couldn't open up the GG forum post, some type of error to it. Could this be because it is an older post? The PDF timeline still came up, & I was able to read this all the way thru. WOW!!!!!!!!!! Just saying tears does not sufit, but a gusher would be more the case, & this is in just reading about the vet visits & stays. | |
