Is it possible for female gliders to experience moodiness or anything emotionally or physically unusual during or around their cycles? Confusion? Anything?

Phoebe appears to be in heat and is trying to (do the deed again) with the other two girls. Chloe is not having it, Bindi tends to be submissive. But she's making this extremely irritated noise while chasing them. Not a hiss, not a crab. Something....different. Almost like she's in pain but she's not doing it when she tries to potty, just here and there. She almost looks confused too. She is eating and drinking....I don't know, you think she has cramps??? Cycle Question 652520 She's done this once before a few months back.

Any female can have hormonal swings during estrus that varies from mild to severe. So, it is possible that she has a greater hormonal reaction some months than others. I doubt that it is cramps, but it is possible that she is uncomfortable. Maybe she is just a grump during her cycle - I know plenty of gals that exhibit this same grumpiness. lol!

Females will mount each other in a show of dominance, and the need to exert dominance is sometimes greater in females at certain times during the estrus cycle.

Does she exhibit this behavior for only one night, or across several nights?

Well last time she did this, it was only for one night. And it was another time when I happen to be up aroung 4am. Phoebe is my lazy glider. She comes out in 10 minute intervals when the others get up and then put herself back to sleep. But after 3am is when she really gets active. So ya, if I remember right, I think this weird behavior happened during her active time as well. Last night she ate 'ok', peed and pooped (no noise while doing this) an drank water. So I am thinking this is related to hormones. I'll see how she does tonight.

Thanks!!
