I hope you guys are packing your lucky underwear. Ms. Karen Milas told me today that she is leaving a lot of extra room in her luggage "for all her winnings." She is already feelin' lucky!

A few things you want to remember to make room for in your luggage:
* Your Secret Suggie gift
* Any surveys you have completed
* Your entry item for the Saturday Night Dinner (one cage item for rescues - unless you plan to purchase something or give something you win).
* You may bring a toy from your home that needs repair and we will teach you how to repair it
* Your lucky underwear (see above)

Ha ha! I ALWAYS buy new pj's for glider trips. It was so funny I met Beth Cramer for the 1st time @ SGGA last year while wearing the same new owl jammies! So YES I will be buying new pj's for the trip. But NONE of my clothes fit because I've been working so hard to be healthy everything's falling off of me. I'm trying to talk my hubby into some new capri's ~ it's not like he's already paying my gas & tolls or anything......

Oh, & I'm a flip-flop girl so no fuzzy socks or slippers for me.

I will be packing tonight while my lovely daughter is @ the dance :O)

Bringing my lucky shirt and new pj's and a really big suitcase so i can take home all my winnings.

I haven't found any new PJs I like and I lost one of my favorite fuzzy socks and the stores don't carry slippers anymore. :( I tried! But, the boyfriend bought me some new flipflops and helped me pick out some new capris since my old ones fall off of me now...lol.

Oh Brenda I was cracking up reading your post! I have a twin roommate! I can't find any jammies I like & when I started packing the other night & tried on all my capris, not only can I take them off while buttoned, but 1/2 of them fall to the floor while buttoned! So I too bought a new pair! Haven't picked out shirts & jackets yet, but flip flops are next on the list for Thursday's shopping if I need some to match.

Lol! Well, I'm wearing the new capris and I must have lost a bit more weight or something cuz the size 14s are kinda baggy...oh well! They'll have to do - much better than the size 20s I had!

This brings up something I haven't considered...weather and what to bring to wear??

Saw on the weather Channel that it is suppose to be in the 70's and 80's. I am bringing Capri pants and short sleeve tops to wear.

I'm bringing a bit of everything, just in case!

i was just wondering what info we are going to receive, is it paper through the usps or is it gonna be a file online? It is day after tomorrow when it starts and i need some type of a schedule so i can plan my schedule so i can benefit from this. Are there breaks during the day? Do i need anything?

Sometime tonight all online participants will receive an email with instructions. An announcement will be made on the boards when that email has been generated so that you can check that you received it.

On Saturday morning, you will receive conference materials via email.

Yes, there are breaks throughout the day.

You might wish to have something to take notes on. You need your computer with working speakers and keyboard. Other than that, you don't NEED anything. Some like to just want to sit and watch. You are welcome to make yourself comfortable and participate in any way you like. I do not have the experience of participating from home, so maybe those that have done so before can give you more info regarding that.

Me too Karen & a jacket & a pair of jeans just in case the wind is cold. I'm sure I'll be freezing in the conference room & need my jacket anyway.

I'm also bringing a big bottle of sanitizer to sit @ my table so I can share my social sweethearts :0) Also plan to wear a small size on a lanyard. Twinkie is shoulder tame & will go to just about anyone who asks for him.

I should also assume it's all casual, right?

Yes Kylah. I'm planning jeans and t-shirts for the whole weekend. Except for when I have my PJ's on, of course.

Casual & comfortable. Got to be wearing clothes you don't mind getting pee'd on LOL! And you all are just going to have to pinch me Saturday moring & get it over with. I have nothing w/green on it I can wear or even like. I'll probably need it to wake me up anyway ROFL!

Crystal, I bought a green crown just for Saturday! LOL

Totally comfy and casual, maybe even ultra-casual??? Just remember, people will take pictures and they will end up online.

I just finished work, now I get to pack, go to Wal-Mart for new jammies, and maybe take a nap before I leave.

To everyone traveling please be safe and have a nice trip.
To everyone online just sit back and relax in that recliner and enjoy the talks. Take notes of things that are helpful to you. Sometimes there might be a bit of audio trouble but it is taken care of asap,do not panic and give them a minute to fix it.

Hope ya'll have fun. I'll be busy transporting some surrendered prairie dogs, rats and sugar gliders this weekend. Wish I could have been there, but the rescue is really busy right now.

Is it possible to record the webcast on a DVD?
