Triplets?!! Kinda lol

My Cherish had triplets again! The last time it ended in tragedy for one of the triplets about a week before OOP...

One of the triplets was/is about a week to 10 days behind the other two. Well, the other two actually kicked the smallest out of the pouch to early. Found him crying and "undercooked" in the cage pouch 5 days ago now! I worried about the fact that Cherish was doing what she could to try to get him back into her pouch but the bigger 2 just were not letting it happen. I supplemented the little guy because he was hungry and went to bed. I figured I would just let nature take its course over-night...

Next morning the very first thing I did was to head into their room to check to see if we still had the little one. I pulled out one of the cage pouches and in it sat Cherish and Roadie with only 2 joeys IP. So I came out of the glider room and told hubby that "yep, they ate the little guy".

I then decided to go ahead and do my "head checks/hand out mealies" as I do every morning, leaving Cherish's cage for last because I was a little heart sick..

I got to the end and pulled out the pouch that Cherish and Roadie where in, handed them each a mealie, put the pouch back in. Then I grabbed the other cage pouch that Cuppycake was in (she had a very small single joey in pouch with about 30 days to go to OOPing) and here Cuppycake sits with her lil one in pouch AND Cherish's little guy in pouch also!!

Its been 4 days now and he is still safely tucked into Cuppycakes pouch and growing like a weed! Cuppycake looks funny with her very lopsided pouch but she is being an amazing surrogate momma to this joey! I couldn't be a happier glider slave if you paid me!!

I do worry that something will happen to Cuppycakes wee one with her surrogating the triplet. Has anyone else had an experience like this?? What was the outcome?

I will try to get pictures if at all possible without upsetting/stressing Cuppycake!

Oh, just wanted to add, Cuppycake is back to sharing a cage pouch with Roadie/Cherish...I think she just isolated to make sure the triplet stayed in her pouch, but of course, this is just speculation on my part...

Amazing! Gliders continue to amaze me. I hope all goes will for all 4 joeys. Give Cuppycake lots of extra mealies! She is one terrific glider mommy.

I got pictures!!!...Not the greatest in the world but you can tell the difference in sizes, see cuppycakes other baby bumb (sorta) etc...I noticed that Tuckerz was hanging out on Cuppycake so I was able to coax her into the other pouch so I could try for pictures...Best I could do at this time!

So far so good! Tuckerz came officially OOP this morning at 3:30am! He's put on quite a bit of weight since he was thrown out of his momma's pouch by his big bully bro/sis Shietz n Gigglez! Although I didnt get to hold him/weigh him etc yet as Roadie was on guard duty. He does look soooo much more matured and actually full sized OOPing weight/maturity now!!
