| I do have it. Good luck with the babies :)
1 egg, scrambled 1/2 avacado 1/2 tsp rep cal enough milk or water to create a thick paste
I mash it with a fork and feed like a licky treat, but it can be fed just on the plate, too.

| The recipe I was given long ago is:
1 small cooked chicken breast OR 1 can of chicken breast drained and rinsed. 1/2 avacado 1 egg - scrambled or hard boiled (no shell) 1 teaspoon HPW Liquid to taste/consistency.
I always make it with papaya juice or Mega Green juice (both by Knudsen) and make it more of a pudding consistency in the blender. But, maybe that is because I am lazy.
It can be kept in the fridge for a night if you don't use it all the first night. Gliders also love it with apple juice instead of water.

| Yes, Val has the correct recipe posted...I now use HPW instead of repcal as well, when I first got this recipe there was no HPW.
And milk?? Where did that come from??
Shawna, are you on ambien or are you in a hurry?? LOL!

| Milk was in the original recipe I got. I got it from Monster. (This was when Peggy was a Mod on GC, and still scared me!)
I used ensure by itself. The milk/water is just to thin it enough to mush well. I have, over the years, added all kinds of things to this recipe, honey, pecans, hpw, juice, karo syrup, and even maple syrup once--just so you know gliders could care less about maple syrup.

| Peggy scared me back then too. Glad I was not alone there. She busted my newbie self more than once. LOL That's not the recipe I got canned chicken (wash the mess out of it), avacado, and I am going to have to look up the rest later. Its on my other computer.

| Found my orginal recipe finally. It called for canned chicken, nuts, avacado and scrambled egg. Little honey to sweeten it up. I thought that was the one I got from Shawna. | |

| Oh My how people just add what they want to add to things!! ROFL!! Ok, let me say (and this is NOT for a pat on the back by any means) that Tim is the one who started this glider crack, Shawna is just the one who named it I believe. The recipe was created when I was worried sick about Bear being so thin and frail looking and carrying Dasher. Tim gave this recipe to me and told me at that time not to pass it out to the glider community as it is NOT recommended to feed long term and he was worried some out there would and wind up with very obese gliders. 1/2 avocado 1 can of chicken breast (in water) drain and rinse very well 1 scrambled egg 1 teaspoon HPW (this used to be rep-cal) Liquid to taste/consistency. The liquid that is used it either recommended to be water or juice There are NO nuts included in this, nor any milk (not sure where Gina got that from), nor anything else. And only 1 teaspoon of this should be offered to your glider at a time. Depending on the situation would depend on how often to feed this. Now I will tell you, I do still give this to my gliders on occasion as a special treat, they love it, and they deserve it!! Besides that, they have me wrapped around their little thumbs!! Dont you guys think it is funny....little ole me scared you guys.... I still havent figured that one out yet!! | |

| Thank you Peggy. Boy, it amazing how something so simple can get twisted over the years. I just need to bulk up a couple of under weight gliders. By no means do I want to use this long term. | |

| well Peggy I had not met you in real life and when I did at the first SGR. All you GC mods were sitting at the same table - you, Dancing, Alicia and someone else I cant think of, but I don,t think I actually "met" you then as I and some others (aggiecutie for one) thought you were a tyran. It is funny now but not back then.... Now you know why she (aggiecutie) dropped your handshake when you met her. | |
