Let's see. We gave Lilly the round of shots and that seemed to help some. The swelling reduced but it didn't go away completely. Once the meds were discontinued, the fur on the back of her neck started filling back in.
About a month later, I noticed the leg was swelling again. At this point I have decided to let nature run its course with her. If, at any point, I think she is suffering, I will end it. She is 12 years old and she has had a good life.
