Kylah, yes some are within walking distance. But, I'm sure one of the wonderful ladies in attendance will be happy to drive you if the wind is terrible or a snowstorm comes or you loose a foot or something.

Jealous!!!! I want some good chowda!!! I grew up in RI - we used to make our own! I think that having coordinating food while participating online is a great idea!

Do you know if the hotel gives a certain amount of breakfast meal tickets to each room? I've stayed in hotels that only gave 2 free breakfasts p/room & we split them ~ I ate free one day then paid the next. Then other hotels it was a free for all ~ if you were staying your were welcome to eat. Just trying to figure out how much $$$ we need to eat on. Also, do you know if the hotel serves breakfast on Sunday morning?

Thanks!

Well...., since I will be making a day of this here in Michigan, it looks like chowda and cheesecake will be in order! I'll actually be in my office since the internet there is faster than at home. But, there is a kitchen, and I am bringing slippers! I'll be the only one in the building, no doubt, so I can be as wild and animated as I want! Can't wait!

I really don't know, Karen.
This is not the hotel that I normally stay at and I can't really remember what is right around there. I'm sure it isn't far though. ;)

My map shows Starbucks sort of on the corner by Target on 71st & Mingo Valley Expressway.

I also saw an Arby's, Taco Bueno, KFC, Wendy's, Cheddars, IHOP & Red Robin.
