Parsley

Can the gliders havbe fresh parsley? I have a bunch here and was thinking of putting it in tent time tonight. I was going to give it uncooked. Kind of like a play thing a sprig at a time, stem and leaves.

No, no, it's a member of the onion family. You have basil? Mine love fresh basil.

No Basil but since they can have fresh basil I will get some next time I am at the store.

I thought parsley was safe. I've only ever seen it on "safe" lists and even sprinkle it on top of their eggs.

Is Spring Parsley the same?

I don't know but I've been told by a handful of people that it's a member of the onion family. Sooooo....would be great to know since I have some growing and have never been able to feed it for fear of it being toxic. Who's the resident horticulturist here? LOL

Mine eat the parsley from my garden. Not as a staple, but I offer it when I have a lot. Dandelion greens are a good one, too.

Well potty then, I was wrong. Don't ever listen to me Brenda! LOL I had wondered how they could be part of the onion family, seeing as how they grow from roots and not bulbs. That's what I get for listening to people without investigating.
