I recently came across a thick piece of coffee bark/wood that has holes in it. It is meant as a bird toy. I got to thinking and thought I could make an awesome and unique toy with this. I have never heard of coffee wood! Is it safe? It comes from non producing (old) coffee trees. Any insight would be awesome. If this doesn't work I'm going to use bamboo ;)

Honestly, I don't know. Is it not listed on any of the safe/unsafe lists?
