Since she has not had a necropsy on ANY of the animals in question, then there really is no way to tell.
I hate to speculate an issue to death. It really does us very little good as a community - especially here, where we are trying to provide useful and helpful information. I'm all for "food for thought" and for problem solving together when one has an issue, but if there are not going to be steps to solve the issue or to properly diagnose, then what are we to do? There has been SO MUCH guessing, speculation and extrapolation done in this community in the past, and now we are teaching as FACT some things that have NO factual information to back them up. So many years of repeating the same speculation or guess has made it now "fact." That just is not so.
This is a teenage girl who has repeatedly made poor decisions and proudly posted about them on public forum. I could speculate about 100 possible causes of death for her gliders. All possible, but none backed by PROOF because there are no necropsy results. That is sad for her, for her gliders who remain and may also be sick, and for this community who have been denied the benefit of this information.
Lesson for us all - if you have an unexplained death, do NOT "guess" or speculate, GET A NECROPSY. It is not just about you and your glider, it is for ALL gliders.
