Val, I just have to say, you know I got a couple of calls from some folks, and waiting for return calls from others (NITA RAE), but from what I hear, you put on quite a good time girl and your mom makes some KILLER tasting food and people laughed so hard they cried....

yep, definitely calls that made me jealous I missed out!!

Looks like a fun time! Maybe next year I will be able to attend! <prays>

Hmmmmm - I can't possibly remember who all won stuff. I know that Chris, Alicia, Shawna, Jamie, Laura, Brenda, Nancy, Dee and myself won at least one thing. Can't remember everyone else who won, or what each person won. BUT, I KNOW that Dee won the fabulous stuff from you, Davie. I remember it well because I was so jealous.

I won 2 of Roya's wonderful toys & the sissy pouch. Alicia won the TGI jr wheel & Emergency Medical Kit. Shawna won the awesome hand sculpted medical glider figurines & the Hobo wallet -Laura won the mystery box- which was filled with awesome toys from Suz's sugargliders, the tootsie roll carrier, the huge tunnel toy & FREE admission to next years RRR. Brenda won the glider gift basket. The new Chris R won the Finding Nemo cage set. Lynsie won the Cloud 9 sculpture. Val won the blender with HPW powder & bee pollen- She also won a bunch of other stuff but can't remember what

I won what I really really really wanted and lost track of who else won what

It was a WONDERFUL, memorable weekend. I really enjoyed meeting so many of my board friends (and their spoiled gliders) in person! We learned a lot about gliders (and their Australian cousins) in the wild from Adrien. I think his research and our educating him about gliders as pets here in the US will eventually have an impact on glider ownership as pets in Australia where is is currently difficult to obtain the necessary licenses to own them as pets.

We had great discussions that we all learned from during the weekend. Most of all there was lots of FUN, FELLOWSHIP, and way too much good FOOD!

Val, you must give your mom an extra big hug and give her our thanks for all her hard behind the scenes work.

I am already looking forward to next year!

Oh for some reason I thought the raffle winning was the entire stash of goodies in one shot! lol I'm sure it stated otherwise somewhere but well, you know I get lazy about reading everything in it's entirety. Good thing I never took up a career as a proof reader! LOL

OMG...why does it have to end so quick? I even tried to move in with Val's momma so she could cook for me always :) So much fun and got to chat with a few I've met on the boards but got to meet them much better in person! Val what a wonderful meeting, well organized, great topics and a full fun packed week-end!! I'm already counting the days until next year The hotel and staff was amazing!!

The auction stuff was all won together but the raffle table was per item. I can say I think I was the only one that didn't win anything - lol. Yes...I did put a few tickets in :) and what a lot of really great stuff to win. Note to self...gotta get me some Davie toys and Roya's wonderwallsl!

I got to bring home an awesome trio from Val...if you don't have any of Val's rescue babies I have no idea what you are waiting for!! My three are awesome! I carried them around with me all day Sat...not a peep out of them and could put my hand right in their pouch immediately and give treats/chin rubs!

I of course did not take a camera...and if I did I most likely would not have gotten one picture...I'm just really bad when it comes to that - lol...but I know there were several camera's going all week-end so should be seeing more soon.

AWWWW. We still love you. So much so that we made Chris change her user name. It is Texas T here, and will hopefully be on GC soon as well. Both Chris' are AMAZING and I am just blessed to be friends with more than one Chris R. How lucky am I????

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Got to visit with many friends, some that I had not seen in a year and got to make some new friends.
Had plenty of time for cathing up. Loved it.

I just adored Brad aka Dr. Walsh, he is just such a wonderful person. He actually attended and joined in on all of the activities with us and gave some wonderful info on gliders.

I especially liked the discussion on the affect that stress has on healing and the ways to minimize it, many of which I would have done the complete opposite of before this weekend. Thank you Sugar Group!

The bingo was a blast and having Adrian and Dr. Walsh right there playing with us kinda surprised me. A really nice surprise.
The food was..........YUM A huge thanks to Val's mom for working to put together such wonderful meals for all of us. Thoses brownies were sinful. LOL

The raffle and auction were tons of fun & my babies and mom's came home with a truckload of great new goodies from some of the most amazing vendors this community has to offer .
Thank you to all the vendors for donating so we had so many chances to get a special goody for our kiddos.

I LOVED Adrian's presentation, it was wonderful even though it made me a little sad to see that the deforestation is threatening so many of their wildlife. Watching him enjoy loving on my little Avalon was almost heartbreaking. I really appreciate that we are able to keep our babies as pets here. I just don't think I could live anywhere that would keep me from my kiddos.

I can't wait for next year. Thank you Sugar Group for giving me a wonderful weekend and something to look forward to next Feb

What a great weekend! I really appreciated the rides to and from Amarillo with Val, Shawna, and Chris. Thank you.

Your mom's cooking was great, Val. You have an amazing family - how wonderful that you all live near each other.

My grandson spent the day w/me today and was intrigued by the baby bird, Jen. So am I - have to think of a name for that easy keeper.

The suggie psychic was amazing and I know she will soon have her own tv show where she eventually expands her services to humans and other animals.
