| Just got back from the vet. Gizmo is very sick and we are not sure what is going on.
There is fresh blood in her stool, but it could be coming from her digestive system or her reproductive system.
They got a stool sample and a urine sample which won't get run until tomorrow.
Gave her sub-Q fluids and dextrose, sent her home on Metronidazole 2Xs a day.
Dr. Sladky put her on the Metronidazole as it as an analgesic effect on the intestines in case this is an intestinal problem.
Please say a prayer for my Gizmo. She is my first glider and I am not ready to let her go over the Rainbow Bridge. | |

| We had to help Gizmo over the bridge today. She wasn't coming out of the anesthetic from the ultrasound and they found a mass in her abdomen. She was still losing blood out of her cloaca. She went down in 36 hours. She was fine Sunday during the day, pooping normal. No injuries or falls.
She had lost so much blood they were not able to find a vein to euthanize her, they had to inject directly into her heart.
The was my first glider and as she quietly crossed the bridge with me rubbing her feet she took a large chunk of my heart with her.

| I am so sorry, Kimberley.  Do they know what the mass in her abdomen was? That's what my Nynaeve passed away from. Well, the mass was on her hepatic duct and had grown so much that it cut off the blood flow to other organs. Again, I am so sorry. Gizmo had a wonderful mom and you gave her a great life. | |

| The mass in her abdomen was a large blood mass. The gross necropsy came back that they think she had a cyst on her ovary that ruptured and she had a lot of bleeding. The blood in her digestive system was from her cleaning herself up.
Waiting on the histology now. | |
