2012 SUGAR Group RRRoundup Information

The 2012 RRRoundup will be unlike any event previously - bigger and better than last year's even!

This year's event will take place in Tulsa, OK on March 16-17, 2012

ADDITIONALLY - the gathering will be available for you to participate from home if you aren't able to attend. For a small fee, those who can't physically be at the event can participate from home as they will be given access to all the educational materials, live chat interface with the event and live viewing of all the speakers and demonstrations. There are even a few activities and door prizes planned ONLY for those participating from home.

With a focus on research and rescue needs, this gathering will put strong emphasis on data collection and research planning. We have been hard at work for many months planning this gathering and assure you that you will want to be a part of this event.


Details will be revealed as we are able to confirm them. But, we wanted to give you this information right now so you can begin or continue your plans to attend knowing all the options available to you. We will post hotel information, FAQ and other exciting details in the next 4-6 weeks.

I got really excited with the location this year, Tulsa is only 4hrs away but then checked the dates- that's spring break around here and that's a black out period for RO's at work.

Suz and I have booked our flights. Can't wait to see everyone.

I would really like to go. Still debating. Long drive, expensive flight, want to bring The Monkeys - what to do. Still looking and haven't written it off yet. REALLY hope I'll be able to attend!

Is there a website for this? I have never been to anything like the round up so I was hoping someone would put a website for newbies :)

It might be possible for me to do this. Definately from home route, I might be able to get furbaby sitters for 2 days if there is someone close to me that wants to ride together. Hubby doesn't like me out like that by myself and I am not that crazy about flying, I also get motion sickness if I am in the mountains. But I definatly could do it on the computer with ya'll. Dang I'm getting excited about something LOL

It's about a 5-6 hour drive for me but I am thinking about coming if I can afford it. Is anyone else for sure going?

Do I need anything thing special to do this other than just my laptop ?

If I remember correctly, as long as you can watch videos on your computer, like on youtube, you can participate.

Yep. All you have to do is register (when registration opens) and then you will get an email giving you a link to follow to configure your computer for the event. Then on the day of the event, you just follow the link and you are there!

Am I missing hotel info somewhere? How far it is from the airport? How you get to the hotel? Where the actual events take place? LOL Logistics?

LOL. Kylah, we had a really hard time deciding between two hotels. Then, we made a decision and had a lot of trouble with contract negotiation (cause I'm so dedicated to getting the best possible deals for both attendees and the SUGAR Group - I'm a negotiatin' fool LOL).

So, now by the end of Monday we will either have the great hotel we want with signed contract or the other great hotel we want.

I hate to drag it out so long, but I promise it is only because I am working so hard to get really good deals for everyone.

I have no doubts it will be well worth it.

Just found out that I won't even be able to join all of you online this year -- I'll be in Scotland from March 15th to March 27th. I'm sad to being miss it, as I had such fun attending last years.. learned so much!

as this is my first year of owning suggies, i would love to come, but work demands otherwise :( how can i sign up for the home viewing etc?
