I got a container of glideraid from suncoast and i was wondering how often is okay to give them some of it? Could you weaken it a little and give more often?

I give it to my gliders once a week. I wouldn't weaken it to give it more often. It's never good to change a recipe.
I know some people give it more often. I think of it as more of a treat than a staple food.

Glideraid should be used as a treat. Most of the gliders here love it.

The directions on the package say (for liquid use) "To use it in liquid form, mix one teaspoon into 1/3 cup of warm (not boiling) water" . So , my drinking silo tube will not hold quite that much liquid, so i use 2 ounces of water with a little more than 1/2 teaspoon but less that a whole to adjust for the less amount of water. 3 gliders drink off this (soon to be 4, getting my last baby tomorrow). They also say that for HEALTHY gliders we recommend using the nectar up to a maximum of 4 times per week. OK, now my babies do not drink it all. They drink some of it, maybe half the amount. I have been giving them this every OTHER day. All that being said, do you think it is too much ?

I mix 2 tablespoons glideraide and 2/3 cup water. That is enough for 6 gliders for 2 nights. I put the extra in the fridge and give it a couple days later

They recommend you feed it that often so that they will sell more of it, not because it is good for your gliders.

What diet do you feed?

If you are feeding a recognized diet plan, then the glideraid is just like giving them ice cream every day. They don't NEED it and it is not that great for them, but they do like it.

I use the diet from suncoast as a guide, protein , fruits, veggies , sprinkled with the milk replacement/vitamin/calcium mix and a very small amount of pellets (suncoast chicken formula and the zoo one they sell, about a tablespoon of each, i moisten the hard one.) On my own I give them a little bit of HPW every other day, the amount of 1 ice cube between all the gliders, i made it with the green juice, and the nectar the every other day. I try to give them a variety of things that are good for them. I will cut back on the necter. I like giving them the HPW some too as they love it, but I don't want to just give that for their only protein as i want them to have variety.
