PostSubject: Chicken   Wed Sep 14, 2011 9:30 pm

I was having a *ahem* discussion the other night about chicken with someone, and we had to look up the nutrition information to see who won. Well, in looking it up, I found that the calcium to phosphorus ratio is HUGE! and wondered if someone could help me out. I feed it on junk food night, about once a month, so am not concerned about it harming my gliders, and I won't be changing that. However, I know there are people that feed it often, and I wanted to know what the current thoughts are on this.

In 1 cup of chopped, cooked, chicken breast there is 43.4 grams of protien, which is great!

Calcium: 21mg
Phosphorus: 319mg

I got my information here:

Shawna--momma to lots of fur-kids, 2 skin-kids and a beautiful grandbaby! Plant your hope with good seeds, don't cover yourself with thistle and wees--Mumford and Sons--Thistle and Weeds

Shapes on a Page, my next movie.

I'm with you. I don't feed it all that often because of the hugely backwards ratio.

Kylah, That's K-y-l-a-H (Take note of the "H"!) My favorite color is pants, which is perfectly normal.
