| My gliders barely ate at all last night. LOL I guess they hate coconut water. (which was a new thing I tried.) They also still hate broccoli and carrots no matter how I dice/mince/grate/cook/not cook them... | |

| My dinners never look as pretty as Davies. But, here is the chicken noodle soup I made for my guys a few days ago: Chicken, celery, carrots, red bell pepper, corn, peas, snap peas in pod, butternut squash, broccoli, mushroom, green beans, and spaghetti noodles. They LOVED it! | |

| Seeing as I still had some leftovers from Thanksgiving and I wasn't about to eat some of it (cranberry sauce and turkey necks), this is what the gliders are dining on tonight:
Mixed veggies (corn, peas, carrots, green beans) Apple Cranberry sauce Mashed potatoes Turkey neck (2 necks broken into 18 pieces so each glider would hopefully get a chunk) HPW Complete

| I simmer the chicken, celery and carrots for about 7 hours, then just add the rest of the stuff and simmer for another 2 hours or so. | |

| Tonight is a bit of junk food night. I had to go grocery shopping after work for fruits and veggies and green juice and didn't get home till after the sun went down. Therefore, the gliders got some "easy for mom, quick for gliders" food:
Scrambled Eggs Sunshine Slaw, Broccoli Slaw, Frozen Mixed Vegetables (Corn, Peas, Carrots, Green Beans) Frozen Triple Berry Blend (Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries)
Later, I'll be chopping up the fresh fruits and veggies I bought and making a new batch of HPW Complete with Green juice.

| My parents have been visiting this week and for Christmas, I got a deep freezer. Since we are still in the apartment, it's plugged in, sitting in the living room and I made sure my boyfriend knows it is for ANIMAL FOOD ONLY. LOL.
On top of that, he got to go on an Alaskan hunt last month and brought me elk, moose, deer (okay, that one is good ole Oklahoma White Tail), Caribou, and Muskox. There was a group that got together through a big game hunting website, so they split their wares between everyone, so that every person got to take home quite a bit of different meats.
That said, we are going exotic with our raw proteins for the next few weeks (months? years? LOL it's a lot!).
Tonight is:
Elk Moose Macho Bananas (Large Plantains) Red Jalapenos Sugar Cane Jicama Bok Choy Tomatoes Mushrooms Mango Papaya Flax Seed Ayurvedic Warming Mix (All of the above wrapped in Banana leaves) Raw Goat's Milk
For those of you in Dallas, Houston, or Austin, go to Fiesta Supermarket. They have a HUGE ethnic produce selection and they are cheap. Half of the stuff there I cannot pronounce!

| We made WAY too much food for this fine holiday, so today the gliders are eating tossed salad, mashed potatoes, cranberry salad, apple, clementine, plum, mac & cheese, and turduckin.

| I feel bad for my girls after reading some of these posts! Dinner tonight for the three musketeers: High protein mix, broccoli, yogurt with calcium sprinkles, and a few mealie worms. I am so worried about the calcium/phos ratio that i stick to my 2:1 list pretty exclusively so I skip some of the things I know they like. | |

| Dinner should be fun, GliderDad. What should be most important is feeding a nutritious and well balanced meal - it shouldn't be all about the numbers. I don't look at numbers...I don't look at ratios. I feed a very large variety, every single night. My gliders are happy and healthy! So for us tonight...our Staple mix, along with: Beets Beet greens bananas clementines carrots mango broccoli snap peas yucca root potato asparagus and chicken!! | |

| I do. I chop everything up, then mix it together in a bowl and spoon it into all their feeding dishes/toys. They eat better than we do, I think LOL. Dinner time is always a joy here and I love seeing them enjoy new things. :) | |
