Nutritional Data for Ensure

Many of you may have seen this on Glider Central, but I wanted to post on the other forums for those that do not visit there. I contacted the company that makes Ensure as I have some concerns about over supplementing with calcium. After a few pleasant emails, they sent this info I requested:

Ensure with Fiber was discontinued a few years ago. Our Ensure line of
products have undergone quite a few name changes in the last few years.
Ensure Immune Health is most similar to the previous Ensure with Fiber
FOS. Ensure Immune Health provides 3 grams of fiber and prebiotics to
promote a healthy digestive tract and immune system.

I feed 2 Tablespoons per glider every other night. They also get veggie relish or thawed forzen veggies and squash, tomatoes, snap or snow peas collard greens, watermelon, peaches, papaya, mango, kiwi, grapes and so many other things I mix and match it up. On the off nights(every other day) they get boiled chicken or scrambled eggs, or Canned chicken(Wash it very well in a collander first), or oven roasted Turkey lunchmeat. I also feed a heaping teaspoon of yoplait yogurt on the off ensure days. Mine like the cherry orchard, blueberry and of course the strawberry whips. Plus they get a variety of fruits and veggies. It also shows whats on my gliders plate for that particular night.
I have been feeding an ensure diet for 3 or so years. The gliders that have been on it their whole lives will get blood tests done next year to see where we are at here.
